【摘要】:Theseremanufacturingproceduresarerecommendedminimumguidelinesforusebyremanufacturesoflight-dutyautomotivestarterstopromoteconsistentreliability,durability,andsafetyofremanufacturedstarters.Installationofremanufacturedorrebuiltproductsisoftenaneconomicalwaytorepairavehicleeventhoughtheproductsmaynotbeidenticaltooriginalequipmentparts.Beforeprocessinganypart,aremanufacturershoulddetermineiftheoriginaldesignandpresentconditionofthecorearesuitableforremanufacturingsoastoprovidedurableoperationofthepartaswellasacceptableperformancewheninstalledonthevehicle.Theremanufacturershouldalsoconsiderthesafetyaspectsoftheproductandanyrecommendationsoftheoriginalmanufacturersrelatedtoremanufacturingorrebuildingtheirproduct.WhilethesePROCEDURESaremeanttobeuniversalinapplication,variousproducttypeshaveuniquefeaturesofdimensionanddesignwhichmayrequirespecialremanufacturingprocessesandteststhatareeithernotcoveredbyorareexceptionstothesePROCEDURES.
